Love to me is when you have such a strong connection with someone, that you have built upon overtime and you can be yourself 100% with them and having mutual respect for each other. Love is something that cannot be forced upon you, and something that will not happen immediately. You have to go through the good, and hardships knowing that you will be there for them not matter the case. I feel that love today is being shattered by the growth of faulty relationships and with people using the word as if it was the same as saying “really liking you”. Michelle was the first and only girl that I have said that I loved and I meant it.

Love should be unconditional. It’s about sticking with a person through thick and thin(no matter what their flaws are). It should be mutual between both people and the relationship should be genuine. Not when it’s just convenient for you. It’s about being there for them not matter what the hardships are. That’s what love is all about.

When you wake up and see the person you love laying next to you; for that moment everything feels right in the world. When they wake up and just look you in the eye, your heart melts. And when they smile at you, time stops completely. The little things they do for you, the way they make you feel every time you’re around them just makes you love more and more each day.

It’s amazing that there are different ways in keeping in touch with someone. Webcamming, text messaging, e-mail, phone calls, facebook/any other social networking sites, and if you’re really old fashioned then there’s writing letters. There are things that many couples use now a days to keep in touch or to see how there day is doing, or just simple lovely messages on how much they love/miss each other. Sometimes when you’re away from your significant other for days or weeks a simple video chat temporarily fills in that emptiness. Technology works in such fascinating ways but it still doesn’t beat seeing your significant other in person. Nothing beats that.

You know when you’re in love when apart of you leaves. They can be gone for a day or weeks maybe. And yet, you feel this emptiness in you that won’t be filled until your lover returns to you in your arms.

So I’ve been told; Mike & Michelle met at a party in 2009. But they really “acknowledged” each other in 2010 and that’s when things really took flight. It’s always a surprise on who you end up with, especially if this person has been right under your nose for so long. Fate intervenes and brings the soon to be couple together and then after that you wonder why you didn’t notice each other earlier.

If you were to spend the day with Michelle and Mike, your day will be filled w/ extreme amounts of laughter and fun. It’s never a dull moment with them. I would say that their relationship is a mix of love, humor, sarcasm and compassion. They’re the type of couple that can both be fun and serious at the same time. They understand each other to the point where they are extremely comfortable around each other. And that’s always a plus in a relationship!

A year and five months; that’s how long Mike and Michelle have been together. October 31, 2010 was the day that took their friendship to the next level, the official title of boyfriend and girlfriend.

On November 5, 2011, Michelle and Mike were the first couple to kick off the “Love Caught On Camera” series. Our location: a lovely fall wonderland in Westchester, NY. A lovely public park, complete with a creek, ducks, geese (everyone hates them), a beautiful mini waterfall AND let’s not forget the trees lush autumn colors.
